It is with deep and heartfelt regret that students and staff at Gymnasium Marienberg have received the news of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. As a girls' school, we have continued to look to her for inspiration, and we have loved and admired her dignity, her sense of humour , and her unfailing and profound sense of duty. Her Christian faith was a source of strength and consolation to her, and we shall remember her in our prayers. May she rest in peace, remembered by all who loved her.
