7.15 am New Orleans – 2.15 pm Neuss (2024-01-15)

Today Tutor Group 7d could take part in an online session with Mike Artell who did a 30min cartoon drawing seminar. After some minor technical problems we could all see and follow Mike live. He started with some simple faces : happy – happier- happiest and showed us very easy but astonishingly effective ways to alter facial expressions. Then we focused on animals and how these could be given various characteristics and emotions such as a funny horse, a turtle or a surprised snake. The girls avidly followed Mike's every move on his ipad trying to emulate and adapt his tipps to their individual style of drawing.
It was great fun and 30min of American English cartoon drawing just flew by.
