It is this special time of the year with cakes and cookies and a lot of cheers.

Both English Lks Q1 wanted to emulate the great tradition of the British bake-offs as well as to collect money for Bogotá.
And they did succeed indeed! They managed to conjure true masterpieces or cookies and cakes galore which would rival any contestant's entry to the GREAT BRITISH BAKE-OFFS. There was everything the Brits love about Christmas: shortbread, a snowman cake, red velvet cakes etc. etc.

Dr. Kippels and Frau Kuchen-Jacobsen volunteered to sample all entries and were absolutely surprised at the level of expertise and the taste of all entries.
Fingers crossed! The winners will be revealed next week and awarded with certificates and small prizes, too.

Our thanks go to both LKs for a delicious spread and for donating the money from the bake sale to a good cause, too!
